This technology securely processes the audio of a session to generate clinical notes, allowing our providers to remain fully present and engaged with you rather than looking at a computer screen. Regarding the personal health information processed by these clinical AI tools, you have the following fundamental rights:

• Right to Informed Consent and Opt-Out: You will always be informed before an AI tool is used in your direct clinical care. You have the absolute right to decline or revoke your consent for the use of clinical AI tools (like AI scribes) at any time. Opting out will never negatively impact the quality of your care; our providers will simply utilize traditional manual documentation.
• Right to Data Privacy and Deletion: The clinical AI tools we use are closed-system, enterprise-grade, and strictly HIPAA-compliant. Audio recordings processed by our AI scribes are encrypted, used solely to generate the text note, and then permanently deleted.

• Mandatory Clinical Review: Every piece of AI-assisted medical information— whether it is a blog post on our website or a clinical note in your medical chart—is rigorously reviewed, edited, fact-checked, and finalized by a licensed healthcare provider prior to publication or signing.
• No Automated Medical Advice: In strict accordance with the Texas Medical Practice Act and the Texas Board of Nursing, AI is never used to independently evaluate, diagnose, or treat patients.
